...and welcome! Grab a cuppa, play your favorite music and have a look around my page to see how I can help you and your family out during your sacred postpartum.
After bub arrives is another big chapter in your life that you won’t forget, so I want to help make this 4th trimester as smooth as possible for you and your family with encouragement and support. I work with pregnant women and newborn mums who want to avoid feeling exhausted and overwhelmed once bub arrives. My blueprint will help show you how to switch on your intuition, tune into your baby and be the mum you want to be.
So let me help by taking a part of the load off your shoulders and take care of you, wait on you and nurture you so that you can fully love your newborn in return. Learn about sleep, breastfeeding and village-building, and create a plan for postpartum peace and joy.

Hello, I'm Nadia!
Being a Doula and educator is more of a ‘calling’ or a purpose in life, than a ‘job’. I love everything about it, I desire to protect, guide and fill-in wherever the mum is needing it.
How did I become a Doula? I first learned what a doula was back in 2009 and I immediately fell in love with the idea that I could care for and support another woman that was becoming a mother. I completed my training through the highest accrediting body for doulas internationally through an organization called DONA and have since attended multiple births and through this journey have grown to love my job even more. (DONA.org)
Since then, I have done a bit of traveling and even some midwifery courses in third world settings, and I have have also given birth to two beautiful children of my own, 5 and 3 and have had to put a pause on being on call for births, because, let's be honest, mothering is right up there with all the important things in life.
With my family overseas and no local family near by, I am the very example of why I think every woman should have postpartum care and support after giving birth and one of the reasons why I have desired to pursue my career as a Postpartum doula. I have completed my certified training and am now working with new mums and families in the postpartum period from birth up until about 6 months.
I can understand what it truly means to have no support or help as a new mum and how this can impact the first few months of bonding with your child. I can attest to how difficult it truly was, having had a cesarean and then also a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) and how much I valued having someone to be there for me during that sacred postpartum period.
Outside of doula work, you might see me sewing, baking, hiking, or enjoying lazy days of coffee/tea and reading.

"Nadia was God sent! After a eventful first birth, I was nervous when it came to my second.
I didn't want the cold clinical experience I had last time, and so I enlisted her help.
She educated me as to my options, positions to help different stages of labour, helped me write a birth plan and empowered me.
Birth #2 was a completely natural experience, which has left me feeling empowered.
Thank you Nadia! xo"
"I would highly recommend Nadia from my sacred birth and beyond! I’m very thankful to have had some support with her coming to help me in my home with my new baby and toddler was just bliss. It was nice to feel nurtured and cared for by another mother who knew exactly what I needed.
It was great to sit and chat about my birthing experiences and really enjoyed the pedicure and foot massage she pampered me with. Not to mention not having to worry about tidying my kitchen. Nadia has also provided on going support through Facebook and a friendship.
Thank you lovely lady!"
